The Charles E. Maynard Society
Your investment in The Providence Center will express your value for high-quality, state-of-the-art health care, help to ensure that The Providence Center's programs and services will continue to be provided to over 11,000 people each year, support new and innovative programs, and help to create a legacy of care for the future.
Every year, The Providence Center serves over 11,000 adults, adolescents, children and families who are experiencing psychiatric illness, emotional and/or addiction problems. The Charles E. Maynard Society was established to recognize individuals, corporations and foundations for making a significant philanthropic investment in The Providence Center. Through their generosity, Society members have helped The Providence Center to fund treatment programs that are not funded adequately by private or public sources.
The Society is named for The Providence Center’s founder and first President, Charles E. Maynard, who spent over three decades pursuing the growth and development of The Providence Center and helping to enrich behavioral health services throughout Rhode Island. Charles and his wife, Vicky, also demonstrate their commitment through their philanthropy. In addition to giving each year to the annual fund, the Maynards have given a leadership gift to The Charles E. Maynard Fund For The Future and have named The Providence Center in their will.
Society members receive a beautiful, distinctive pin, which is presented to new members each year at a gathering exclusively for Society members. Members also receive regular updates on The Providence Center and the unique initiatives that have been made possible through their generosity.
Through whatever means you choose to support The Providence Center—cash, stock, real estate, life-income gift, or bequest—you can be assured that your gift will help to perpetuate Charles E. Maynard’s career-long vision of providing the best possible behavioral heath care to the people served by the dedicated staff at The Providence Center.
