The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration's Homelessness Resource Center recently feature The Providence Center's Roads to Recovery program in their series on men's behavioral health issues. After running as a co-educational program for many years, Roads to Recovery was remodeled to create separate programs for men and women, allowing the services to be better tailored to the needs of the client and address gender-specific issues. The results are male client's showing greater success in the program and identifying a variety of paths to recovery.
