Brittany Silva is among a group of certified recovery coaches who are on-call at local hospitals to provide support to emergency rooms patients who have accidentally overdosed through the AnchorED program. Recovery coaches connect patients to recovery supports and resources that will help keep them on the road to recovery following their release from the ER. More than 200 overdoses were recorded in Rhode Island in 2014.
