TPC VP Deb O’Brien Named PBN’s Woman of the Year

An innovator and leader at TPC, Chief Operating Officer/Vice President Deb O'Brien was chosen as one of Providence Business News' 2014 Women of the Year in the category of Industry Leader for Social Services. The awards program celebrating Deb and the other exceptional honorees will take place on May 29 at the Providence Marriott Downtown.


As Chief Operating Officer at TPC, Deb has balanced innovative program development with an insistence on the highest level of program quality. Her compassion and dedication to providing and advancing services for individuals with behavioral healthcare results in benefits for some of the most vulnerable children, adolescents and adults whom TPC serves. Deb has been able to affect change in Rhode Island's behavioral healthcare system through thoughtfully negotiating changes in how services are delivered and in designing effective programs. She has provided day-to-day leadership at TPC that has grown steadily for the last five years to become the largest community mental health center in the state.
