Recovery/Sober Housing

Safe and stable housing is critical to the success of people in the early stages of recovery. Recovery-based housing offers community living and supportive services that build a foundation for long-term recovery.

  Residents receive:

  • Low-rent housing (based on income)

  • Individual and group treatment

  • Access to 12-Step meetings

  • Access to employment services and case management

The length of stay can be up to one year. Eligibility is determined by successful completion of a Providence Center substance abuse residential services program or other similar services in the Rhode Island community and the individual’s income/ability to pay rent according to Providence Center and HUD guidelines.
