Rhode Island’s Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program guides the behavioral intervention and management program at The Providence Center School, creating a community culture in the school that emphasizes positive behavioral and academic expectations with an emphasis on the traits of respect, responsibility and safety. PBIS provides the framework for implementing best practices that improve behavioral and academic outcomes and optimize students’ success.
